Spring Season Schedule Overview

Weather permitting, practices begin in April, games start in May, and the season concludes prior to July 4th. Below is a high-level list of important dates for the spring-summer leagues. This is meant as a helpful guideline to parents and is subject to change.

• SAVE THE DATE: Players are required to attend evaluations for Mustang, Bronco and Pony levels. There are two evaluation options scheduled for January 14 and January 21, 2024 at Warren High School ALMOND campus. Times TBD.
•  Players only need to attend ONE of the two evaluation sessions. Player evaluations are not held for Shetland or Pinto levels.
• Mid-February - teams drafted by coaches
• March - players contacted by their head coach
• Late March or Early April - first practice (obviously depending on the weather)
• Early May - Opening Day
• Mid to Late June - regular season concludes; playoffs begin (not applicable for Shetland)
• Prior to July 4th - playoffs conclude. PONY league playoffs may extend a week beyond July 4.

• In the month of April (depending on the weather), each team will usually have one weeknight practice (60-90 minutes) and one weekend practice (60-90 minutes).

• In the months of May and June, each team will usually have one or two games during the week and one game on Saturday.  In case of rainouts, games are usually made up on Sunday.

• Mustang, Bronco and Pony leagues may play with other neighboring communities and may also require some games to be played at other communities' fields.

Enrollment - based on age as of August 31, 2024

• Shetland - 6 & 7
• Pinto - 8
• Mustang - 9 & 10
• Bronco - 11 & 12
• Pony - 13 & 14

• All refunds are subject to a $25.00 processing fee. 
• Refund requests must be submitted to the League Registrar and the League Supervisor.

• Refund requests received prior to draft for all levels, except Shetland and Pinto, will only be subject to a processing fee. Shetland and Pinto refund requests received prior to March 1 will only be subject to a processing fee.
   
• Refund requests received after draft but prior to first scheduled game for all levels, except Shetland and Pinto, will only be eligible for a 50% refund.  Shetland and Pinto refund requests received after March 1 but prior to first scheduled game will only be eligible for a 50% refund.
   
• Refund requests received after first scheduled game are not eligible for refunds.  If you feel there are special circumstances (e.g. injury or family move), the President and League Supervisor will review.  However even special circumstances will only be eligible for up to a 50% refund.
   
• The volunteer buyout option is non-refundable.

• Refund requests received prior to  August 1, will be subject to a processing fee only.
   
• Refund requests received after August 1 but prior to first scheduled game, will only be eligible for 50%.
   
• Requests received after first scheduled game are not eligible for refunds.  If you feel there are special circumstances (e.g. injury or family move), the President and League Supervisor will review.  However even special circumstances will only be eligible for up to a 50% refund.
